Dear 2017 Hunt for Hope® Ohio Donors,

We cannot thank you enough for donating to the 2017 Hunt for Hope®. We are humbled year after year at the amount of support we receive for the charity inspired by Lori. While the money is still trickling in, I thought I would update you with our current fundraising total.

We raised an astounding $78,461!!!  HOLY MOLY!!!

We beat last year’s record by nearly $12,000!! We could not have done this without you!!! If you want to see where your money has gone or where your 2017 donation will be going, please check out this link We are an all volunteer charity, so this money will go directly to research!

In addition to donating, many of you created your own fundraising pages and shared them with your friends and family. This is one of the reasons we were able to be so successful in our fundraising efforts!  We appreciate all you did to involve your friends, family and coworkers!

We also had several businesses that gave over $1,000 in donations this year as well.

Our top business sponsors this year:

the Stefanie Spielman Comprehensive Breast Center

Ohio Health Signature Primary Care

Wellness and Premier Allergy

Many of you donated to the IBC Network Foundation via the United Way. This also helped increase our BIG total this year!  Thank you so much!

In addition to these wonderful business and personal donations, some people did additional fundraising for the event.

Team Boobalcious raised an astounding $10,125.00.  Their “campaign” idea was to try to get a donation from all 50 of the states.  This was brilliant! While they didn’t get a donation from every single state, they came awfully close and raised a ton of money in their efforts. Thank you Team Boobalcious!

Team Oak Creek’s children held a lemonade stand, which brought in $100.

A loyal participant, Chuck LaRosa led a “campaign” where he would shave off his infamous pink mustache live at the Hunt if he raised $3,000. He ended up raising an incredible $4,283.

Team SSCBC Squishers held a bake sale at work and raised $300.

Ben Hartnell had a t-shirt fundraiser with his students at Westerville North High school that raised $700!!!

Autumn McCormick, Diana Arko and Keith Alast, along with the Health Pathway students at Westerville Central High School, teamed up to collect donations totally $1,570.00!!!!

I am sure there were other wonderful fundraising efforts as well, so please accept my most sincere apology if I left off anyone.

Thank you so much once again. We are just amazed at your generosity!!  If you are interested in being a participant in next year’s event,  please save the date for Sunday,October 7th, 2018.  Believe it or not, planning is already underway. 😉

See you next year!
