Many of you have requested an outdoor event so we have made a move! The dance will be held at the The Kenney Store in Kenney, Texas on October 2nd, 2021, and they will provide a great steak dinner!
The Kenney Store was built in 1887 has been featured in several magazines and has even landed on the Texas Bucket List!
Terry Arnold, the founder of the IBC Network Foundation, is a native Texan and grew up in dance halls. She wishes to combine her love for dance halls and good honky-tonk music with her passion for research at this annual signature event. Genuine honky-tonk music will be performed by Texas Country Music Association nominated Zach Neil and his band and in true dance hall style, there will be set ups! (For those not familiar with set ups, it means you can bring in your own favorite liquor and we will have free mixers) Beer and wine will be available.
Each ticket receives one admission and includes dinner, dancing to the Zack Neil and 2 drink tickets and several raffle tickets.
Ticket sales are limited so purchase early!

Walk Your Way
To continue keeping the community safe, the 2021 Walk will not follow routes along the Boston Marathon® course. Instead, walkers will choose their own location to walk: your neighborhood, a local trail, a treadmill, your backyard—the options are endless!
Help us spread the word of the Jimmy Fund Walk: Your Way to your friends and family all over the country. The goal is to have a registered walker from all 50 states by Walk day (October 3, 2021).

Keep your Boot Walk safe.
To honor MD Anderson’s commitment to safety, we ask that you adhere to CDC guidelines for vaccinated and unvaccinated individuals. There are several ways you make your personal walk feel like a traditional Boot Walk event day:
Coordinate a virtual meeting via Zoom to watch the opening ceremony with your teammates before setting off on your individual walks
Create team shirts or other swag to wear with your teammates
FaceTime your teammates from individual locations during your walk
Gather your children or other household members to join your walk
Share selfies or videos from the day at a post-event virtual celebration with your team. Post them on social media with the hashtag #EndCancer and tag MD Anderson and Boot Walk.
Jazz up your event day photos with custom Boot Walk to End Cancer stickers, now available in the Boot Walk app.
Download the Boot Walk app and use the sticker feature to add your own virtual start line and then track your steps to add to the total miles all participants walk on event day. For Apple and Android devices.
